Kangal Rescue Contact Information:
Rescue is an important function of the KDCA. The dogs the KDCA Rescue assists are either registered Kangal Dogs or from verifiable or registered Kangal Dog parentage. We are here to help Kangal Dogs that find themselves in an unfortunate situation. We are all volunteer and work solely for the animal's best interests. KDCA Rescue is supported solely by individual donations and we are always looking for volunteers to assist in its rescue efforts.
KDCA Rescue will NOT do third party adoptions nor will it purchase dogs or re-home dogs for profit.

KDCA Rescue Success Stories
Meet our beautiful, sable-colored rescue Kangal, Luke!
Located in Michigan. Sadly Luke's owner became very ill and was unable to keep him. Luke is from old, documented lines. He is a 4-year old neutered Kangal dog. UTD on all vaccines. He has a very kind demeanor and is wonderful with people. Luke is best suited to be a companion dog as he has no experience to speak of with livestock.
He is excellent on leash. Attentive to direction. Has basic obedience skills and a real gentleman. He was in a wonderful foster home being tested with lots of other Kangal dogs in addition to other animals. It was determined that Luke would be best placed in a home with older children, female dogs and no cats. He is a very nice, steady dog.
Thank you to everyone who helped place Luke in his new home! He is doing very well, and we look forward to posting future updates we receive on this beautiful boy.
